What will you discover this year at Lit. Reef?  Books are your ticket to the outer banks of your mind.

Ocean

Lit. Reef is where small groups of 8th grade students in Mr. Kight's class present a young adult book talk to an audience of peers and adults.  Students will be placed in small groups of 4-6.  Each group will read a book and report back to the class their reflections on the book.  The top groups will have the opportunity to give their presentation to other classrooms.  Parents and members of the community are invited to the book talk on the day the groups present.  Food will be served and everyone will get a chance to discuss the book in a relaxed, island atmosphere!
