Procedures
 
  1. Students will enter room quietly, sharpen pencils, and begin journal assignment.
  2. Students will leave the room when the teacher dismisses them
  3. Students will raise their hand to speak and move out their seat
  4. Students will pass papers in neatly across rows

Make-up work:

IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASK ABOUT MAKE-UP WORK.  MAKE-UP TESTS WILL BE GIVEN ON FRIDAY MORNINGS STARTING AT 7:30.  YOU HAVE 5 DAYS TO MAKE UP YOUR ASSIGNMENTS!

Rules:

1.  Students will come prepared:  notebook, paper, black pen/pencil, A.R. book.

2.  Students will respect the people and equipment of the classroom

3.  Students will have a positive attitude toward Language Arts

4.  Students will only do Language Arts related work during class

5.  Students will observe all handbook rules - no gum, no dress code violations!

   

Discipline Protocol:
  1. verbal warning
  2. 30 minute detention
  3. 60 minute detention
  4. In school suspension
